25th Anniversary Celebration Hilton Head Island Celebrity Golf Tournament

What it is?

The 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Hilton Head Island Celebrity Golf Tournament will match amateur golfers and celebrities from the world of sports, television, film, music, comedy, entertainment and more for a fun filled Labor Day Weekend filled with great camaraderie. The sole purpose of our event is to raise funds for our 18 local children's charities.

The Honorary Chairman for the 2005 event is Boston Celtic Legend & member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, Bob Cousy.

Why?

Through a tax-deductible contribution, 18 children's organizations will share in the proceeds from our tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will provide food for the hungry, safety and shelter for the abused, clothing for the needy, quality day care, grief counseling, summer camp for the disabled, medical aid and programs that give our children the opportunity for a sense of self worth and direction.

In 2004, $200,000.00 was distributed to 18 children's charities in Beaufort County.

To date, we have distributed $2,360,000.00 to our beneficiaries.

How to Participate

• Sponsorships are available and may include golf, entertainment, exposure and goodwill.
• The public is welcome to attend the event as a spectator at no charge during the Labor Day Weekend.
• Over 250 volunteers are needed to help present the tournament. Volunteers are needed in golf operations, transportation, registration, food & beverage, parking attendants, tear down and more.
