Forest Beach is at the heart of fun in Hilton Head Island. Coligny Plaza, Breakers, the Holiday Inn, other hotels, are stuffed in this strip between Sea Pines and Palmetto Dunes. There are many ways to walk directly to the beach. The sidewalks allow people to rollerblade, bicycle and walk while enjoying our beautiful weather.
People are biking, boating. playing volleyball and swimming in the water while tanning and viewing the beautiful beach homes. You will also be able to rent umbrellas while enjoying your favorite drink....or book. There is no other place to chill out like the Hilton Head Island beaches.
Forest Beach Tip: Forest Beach offers extremely clean bathrooms and above par facilities. The woman's bathrooms have many stalls and there are vending machines available.
The shops along Forest Beach offer festive bathing suits, boogie boards and clothing unlike anywhere else. Coligny Plaza separates North Forest beach from South Forest Beach and offers dining and entertainment to compliment a day at the beach. Coligny Plaza also offers great beach shops, bakeries, and even a grocery store - Piggly Wiggly. You will have no problem finding souvenirs or items needed to complete your trip.
Living at Forest Beach, one is never far away from the sound of the waves on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. There are bike paths and easy access to the public beach. There are many houses, villas, and townhomes in the area that would be great for any family or person.
